Sunflower

The sunflower seeds, we have grown in the fertile soils of Thrace and we bought from the local producers, are screened and combed out of foreign substances.

Sunflowers are treated through crushing procedure and thereafter are subjected to roll and the oil cell membranes are burst, then are prepared for press squeezing by heating. Half of the oil is obtained out of the press, and the other part from extraction unit. The obtained oil is dispatched to raw oil refinement plant. It is subjected to neutralization, winterization, and deodorization procedures at raw oil refinery plant and then sent to packaging as refined oil. It is made ready for offering to the consumer. The sunflower processing capacity in the plant is 150000 kg/day.

The daily production of refined sunflower oil manufacturing and packaging plant is 120000 kg/day.
