From 1930’s To Today
The foundations of the Alemdar Group have been laid by Ahmet Alemdar, as Alemdar Lignite Works at the beginning of the 1930s.
The group has various investment portfolios; agricultural and mining sectors being predominant.
It is proceeding to pursue its own path; as a resolute company with the mission to bring its presence to the future in the agricultural and mining sectors.
It is continuing to provide added value to the geography, in which it pursues its existence with the aim to always present better in the sector at which it carries out activities.
It is active in the Thracian region through husk and refined sunflower oil production investments which it has made in the agricultural sector since 1980; it is keeping up today under the trademark of Alemdar Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. which has been founded in 1990.
It took its place in the refined sunflower oil market as Alemdar Sun Yağ ve Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi; thanks to the SUN brand it has incorporated into its body in 2008 and its refined sunflower oil plant.
The group is also producing lignite coal, via two different mining right licenses in the Edirne province. The produced coals are being sold on the domestic market as lump, nut and pulverized coal.
And our gasoline station, carrying out activity since 1978 is rendering service as Petrol Ofisi.
All our products, manufactured at our plants of Alemdar Gıda Sanayi are produced by performing their quality control in our laboratories and are packaged, and supplied to the consumer.
